Most big UK retailers give students a discount, but each one works differently: some verify you through UNiDAYS, some through Student Beans, and a few only online. Here are the offers we checked on 31 October 2026, grouped by what you'll use them for.
Clothes and trainers
- ASOS: 10% off for students aged 16 or over. Verify once from your ASOS account; it doesn't work at guest checkout.
- Nike: 10% off for verified students. Nike Members also get free delivery on orders over Β£50.
- JD Sports: 20% off full-price items through Student Beans.
- Schuh: 10% off full-price shoes, online and in store, through UNiDAYS.
Tech
- Apple: education pricing on Mac and iPad for university students, newly accepted students, parents and teachers.
- Currys: Β£100 off Windows laptops and desktops over Β£799 through UNiDAYS.
- Lenovo: at least 10% off PCs and 20% off accessories and monitors for verified students and teachers.
Subscriptions
- Amazon Prime Student: six months free, then Β£4.49 a month or Β£47.49 a year. Open to students and to 18 to 24-year-olds.
- Spotify Premium Student: one month free, then Β£5.99 a month, if you haven't had Premium before.
- Deliveroo: a free year of Plus Gold for students who sign up by 31 December 2026, while the offer lasts.
Travel
The 16-25 Railcard takes a third off most rail fares in Great Britain. It costs Β£35 for a year or Β£80 for three. On weekday mornings between 04:30 and 10:00 there's a Β£12 minimum fare, except in July and August.
Before you claim
Most of these need a one-off check that you're a student, usually with your university email. Codes are often single-use, so generate a new one when you need it, and read what's excluded: many student discounts only apply to full-price items.
