How we check every offer on SnagFinch

A discount code site is only useful if the offers work. Here's what happens before an offer appears on SnagFinch, and after.

Before it goes live

• We go to the source. We check each offer on the store's own website, or with its official partner, such as UNiDAYS or Student Beans for student discounts.
• We write down the conditions. Who qualifies, any minimum spend, what's excluded, and whether it works online, in store, or both.
• We record the date. Every offer notes when we checked it, and its end date when the store gives one.

After it goes live

• Ended offers disappear automatically. When an offer reaches its end date, it moves to "recently expired".
• You tell us what works. The "Did it work?" buttons on every code show us which offers need another look.
• We re-check. Stores change offers without notice, so we go back to the source regularly.

Product prices

For product deals, prices come straight from the store and show the time they were checked. If a price is too old, we hide it and ask you to check it on the store's site instead.
